3 Steps to big rebates and a cooler home

#1. Start with a conversation

Call us at (623) 581-5298 or fill out our online form. We’ll confirm your eligibility and guide you through the Efficiency Arizona application step-by-step so you don’t miss anything.

#2. Home energy assessment

Once your application is approved, we’ll schedule a diagnostic assessment – blower door testing, duct inspection, and insulation check – so we can design the best energy upgrade plan for your home.

#3. Install with rebates applied

We handle installation to program specs, apply your rebates directly to your invoice, and make sure everything passes final quality checks. You enjoy a cooler home with lower energy bills – often with no upfront cost for the assessment and only paying any balance after rebates.

Efficiency Arizona rebate eligibility in the Phoenix–Mesa–Scottsdale area

If your gross household income is at or below 80% AMI, you may qualify for the highest rebate level (Tier I). If your income is between 80% and 150% AMI, you may still qualify for partial rebates (Tier II). Households above 150% AMI are not eligible at this time.

Household Size ≤80% AMI ≤150% AMI
1 person $62,850 $117,850
2 people $71,800 $134,650
3 people $80,800 $151,500
4 people $89,750 $168,300
5 people $96,950 $181,800
6 people $104,150 $195,250
7 people $111,300 $208,700
8 people $118,500 $222,200

Income values are based on gross (before tax) household income for all occupants over the past 12 months.

You can get up to 100% of your project costs covered if you’re at or below 80% AMI, and you can claim rebates that cover up to 50% of your costs if you’re between 80% and 150% AMI. Anyone above 150% AMI isn’t eligible at this time.

Important rules (so you don’t waste time)

    1. Existing heat pumps can’t be rebated by the program. Heat pump rebates are for first‑time installs (or replacing electric resistance/baseboard heat).

    2. Replacing a gas appliance with electric? The gas unit must be disconnected and removed.

    3. Stacking is allowed (often): You may combine Efficiency Arizona rebates with utility rebates and federal tax credits, but total incentives can’t exceed project cost.

    4. Financing: The program doesn’t provide financing, but we can connect you with low-interest financing to make the project even more affordable.

    5. Homeowners only (for now): Current phase serves owner‑occupied homes; renter and multifamily offerings may arrive in later phases.

    6. Past work isn’t eligible: No rebates for projects already completed outside the program.
